Who we are
A Dar es Salaam haulier that treats the border as part of the job.
Boaz Group Ltd has been moving cargo out of Dar es Salaam since 2020. We own the trucks, employ the drivers and hold the clearing licence — which is why we can be held to a date.
Our story
One truck, one corridor, a lot of queuing.
The company started with a single prime mover shuttling containers between Dar es Salaam port and inland depots. The freight was the easy part. What cost clients money was the border — entries lodged late, documents that did not match the manifest, trucks idling at Rusumo while someone in an office chased a signature.
So we became a licensed clearing and forwarding agent ourselves rather than subcontracting the part that actually determined the transit time. Today the declaration is lodged before the truck leaves the yard, and the same operations desk that booked your load is the one that answers when you ask where it is.
Six years on we run 3 company-owned prime movers across five corridors, from a yard and warehouse in Vingunguti. It is a small fleet on purpose: we still turn down loads we cannot deliver on time, because that is cheaper than an apology.
Quality is our definition. On this corridor that means one thing: the cargo arrives when we said it would.

How we work
Four things we do not compromise on.
Say the real date
A transit estimate we can hit beats one that sounds good on a quote. If a border is slow this week, you hear it from us first.
Own the paperwork
Most delays are documentation, not distance. We pre-lodge before dispatch and treat a stuck entry as our problem, not the client's.
Our trucks, our drivers
We do not hand your cargo to an unvetted subcontractor and hope. The driver on the road is on our payroll.
One name on the file
Every consignment has a named transit controller. You call a person who already knows the load, not a queue.
